We provided MOTs for customers across Dorset and Hampshire.

Once your vehicle is three years old it will require an MOT test. Failure to have a valid MOT certificate may invalidate your insurance policy. Don't wait until the day before your MOT certificate expires! you can have your vehicles MOT carried out up to 30 days before the expiry date and have the remaining days added to your new certificate.

We offer MOTs for all cars and light commercials up to 3000Kg DGW. Our new OPTL test lane is available five days a week from 8am to 5pm but do require pre booking. We also test motorcyles.

Pre-1960 vehicles are exempt from MOT tests, these licensed vehicles make up around 0.6% of the total number of licensed vehicles on the road. Of course, owners are still responsible for keeping their vehicles roadworthy and legal even if they don't require an MOT test.

From DVSA Press Office "Although pre-1960 vehicles will become exempt from the requirement to have an MOT test, we know that some owners may wish to voluntarily continue to obtain MOTs for their vehicles. The DVSA system will allow this. There is only one MOT computer system so there is no way that pre-1960 vehicles can be excluded form the database once atest has been concluded. If voluntary MOT tests are undertaken they will remain on the database and form part of the provenance of that vehicle."
